3days of design/Copenhagen... what an inspirational trip this was!
The design fair in Copenhagen was a perfect interpretation of the Welcome Home. Our home needs to be a place where we can turn down the noise, where we can nurture our values and recharge. Simply a place where we can enjoy precious moments by ourself or with our beloved ones.
Each showroom we visited was like coming home. And we spotted many times the colour of the year 2018 - Heart Wood!

Danish design is were beauty, aesthetics and function go together in a perfect way. Everything we saw was high quality - furniture, lighting, textiles, carpets and accessories, in combination with well selected pieces of art and plants. Plants are definitely the trend for 2018. We like it as they can improve one's mood.
We were flashed by the beautiful showroom of Fredericia located in a historical building in the centre of Copenhagen presenting a spectacular view form it's roof terrace. The showroom is presenting classic design icons as well as contemporary news.
The showroom of Republic of Fritz Hansen is always worth a visit as it combines world-famous classics and contemporary design perfectly.
An absolute highlight was the creative workshop of Overgaard&Dyrman where functional elegance meets innovative craftsmanship. The design and the comfort of the chairs and benches they are producing is beyond words.
